Paula Deen Family Kitchen Pigeon Forge Tn opening date has just been announced. Her new restaurant in Pigeon Forge, TN will be opening on April 27, 2015. Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is located at The Island in Pigeon Forge. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu will be similar to the food served at her Georgia restaurant The Lady & Sons. Southern dishes are her specialty, such as fried chicken, baked chicken, chicken pot pie, mac and cheese,  fried green tomatoes, fired okra, black eye pies, yams, banana pudding, pecan pie, key lime pied, bread pudding and peach cobbler. Hours of operation will be 7:30am to 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday and Friday and Saturdays 7:30am to 11:00pm. Reservations are not needed.

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen restaurant is a 20,000 square foot building that will have a restaurant and a store. The store will sell Paula Deen products including her cookbooks, cookware, spices, food items and more. The restaurant portion will seat 300 patrons. While eating at the restaurant guest will have an excellent view of the 200-foot Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, a giant ferris wheel located at The Island. Not to mention the great views of the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains and Mt. LeConte.
