Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival Townsend TN
Townsend, TN is having its annual Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival this weekend. The festival is on May 7, 2022 from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm at the Townsend Visitor Center. The Bigfoot Festival this year is the 2nd Annual event held in Townsend. The festival will feature Bigfoot competitions, famous bigfoot researchers, guest speakers, live music, vendors, food trucks, and a few other surprises. The cost to get in is $5 cash at the gate. A $20 parking fee goes toward The Townsend Fire Department. Kids 5 and under get in free. No dogs allowed. There will also be a shuttle service that will run from different locations in Townsend to the visitor center.
The festival will have multiple Bigfoot vendors, food trucks, and lots of entertainment. Speakers will have their own tents to interact, answer questions, and sign autographs. One guest speaker will be Ron Morehead. Another special guest speaker at the festival will be Huckleberry, Buck and Wild Bill from Mountain Monsters on Discovery +. Twelve of the best woodcarvers in America will be on hand to create Bigfoot masterpieces for auction.
Company Distilling, located in Townsend, will be at the festival with Bigfoot Slushies made with their very own STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY. The night before, on Friday there will be a free showing of The Legend of Boggy Creek. Make sure to bring chairs and or blankets and an appetite for Bigfoot Popcorn!!
This huge festival features many activities and events including over 70 Bigfoot vendors, live music, over 25 food trucks, Bigfoot competitions, wood carving, famous Bigfoot researchers and so much more.
