Fall Foliage 2021 Prediction Sounds Great

Fall Foliage Predictions For 2021

The fall foliage season predictions for 2021 are in for the Great Smoky Mountains. The experts are predicting a great fall foliage season this year. The last few weeks have been blue skies and little rain. If the next few weeks bring cool temperatures and not too much rain then that will hopefully result in a great showing of vivid colors for the Great Smoky Mountains. A cold front approaches this week bring much cooler temperatures, a perfect setup for the development of beautiful fall colors.  There is already some minimal and patchy color noticeable in the trees. Color changes are already underway in the red maples, sassafras, ash trees and dogwood trees.  Peak color in the highest elevations (> 6,600ft) of the Great Smoky Mountains should take place the last week of this month!
