Tourism Back Up in the Great Smoky Mountains

A recent study on tourism in Sevier County shows the first part of 2013 there was an increase in tourism in the Great Smoky Mountains area. The study also confirms the government shutdown did negatively affect tourism the first 2 weeks of October during the shutdown but after reopening the Great Smoky Mountains National Park  tourism recovered.
